Being a pineapple is about joyfully manifesting your best self, with integrity, even through adversity.
Consider the pineapple:
It stands tall, and wears a crown.
It has a thick skin, but on the inside,
it's golden and sweet.
Know who you are, know what you want, and know what you're worth.
Never let struggle or fear in so deep that it changes who you really are.
Will you be a pineapple with me?

I am happy to hear your comments. I'd really like to have a discussion about culture; I'm not interested in punishing particular individuals (the problem is bigger than that). Please do not use the real names of the people I write about (including me), and be cautious about mentioning personal details that are highly identifying. Please also keep comments to the Faculty (not Departmental) level.
Please remain polite; I do not consider myself under any obligation to publish abusive comments.
